Julia Marvin’s passion for communications and building relationships began during her time at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she earned a degree in news broadcast and a degree in political science. It was also during that time she had her first foray into local government while interning at the state capitol as a legislative aide and in the communications office.

With over 10 years of professional experience in marketing and public outreach, Julia has a unique background and understanding of issues from working in government, healthcare, technology, startups, and nonprofits.

Born and raised in Colorado with family roots in Thornton dating back to the 1960s, Julia lives with her husband Alex and cat, Vegas. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, theater, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Julia strongly believes in being active in local politics and the power in grassroots movements. Join her in the journey to create positive change and a brighter future for House District 31 and beyond.
